I help makers build confidence, take control and grow their business with intention.
It’s not unusual for makers to feel held back by their own self-belief which can get in the way every time they think about going after what they want. It’s also often the case that these limiting beliefs around creatives are perpetuated within our society which makes their hold on us even stronger.
My role is to help makers gain clarity, direction and take intentional action so that they feel confident, not only as a maker, but also as a business owner.
The wider importance of this is for maker entrepreneurship to be more visible as a sustainable business model and a viable career path for younger generations, as well as a thriving industry where creativity is celebrated.
“I worked with Jacqui over 6 sessions and her support and guidance came at a time of upheaval in my professional and personal life, exacerbated by turning 30. I am by nature quite self-reflective, but with Jacqui’s guidance, I realised that this is a necessary process for self-development, and not just self-indulgent.
I think the chance to ‘pause’ whilst working full time, having a busy social life and living in London was a welcome relief and something that I did not realise I needed until I was working with Jacqui. Jacqui is a great listener, holds you to account for what you said you would do, and a brilliant coach to have had.”

I am Jacqui from The Maker Edit and I help Makers build confidence, take control and grow their business with intention.
The reason I do this is because it’s not unusual for makers to feel held back by their own self-belief, which can get in the way every time they think about growth, or going after what they want. It’s also often the case that these limiting beliefs around creatives are perpetuated within our society which makes their hold on us even stronger.
I understand the impulse to look at marketing courses and sales opportunities as a quick achievable solution.
But the truth is quick solutions are usually only a temporary fix, it’s easy to seek knowledge, it's harder to work on development and take action in areas of growth.
That’s why I use an action focussed coaching method and invest time in up-levelling your mindset to help you grow, work through limiting beliefs and create a plan tailored to you and your business.
Now I know many people consider coaching an admission of weakness, but it’s actually the opposite, it shows strength. Coaching is about giving you the tools to build resilience and the knowledge to help you grow.
So, will you continue struggling in silence and settling for temporary solutions? Or is it time to take action, build your positive narrative and plan to thrive.
"Working with Jacqui was really insightful as she helped me discover many valuable things about me and the work that I do. She is dedicated, a great listener and very supportive throughout the whole process. I totally recommend her, you will be in really good hands!"
